Abstract Submission


Deadline for submitting abstracts is 1st August 2018. Only those registered for the symposium can participate in the poster/oral presentation. Abstracts submitted via the online submission form will be considered for review and sent to the Abstract Review Committee. Abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. Upon successful submission, you will receive an immediate on-screen confirmation of receipt. A confirmation mail indicating the abstract number will be sent to you upon receiving your payment for registration. Once the review process is complete, you will be intimated on whether your abstract has been chosen for oral/ poster presentation by August 20, 2018.

Oral Presentation

The duration of presentation is 8 minutes with 2 minutes for discussion. An interesting case or finding in the field of Neurogenetics can be presented. It is mandatory for the speakers to send their presentation in the form of PowerPoint by 1st September 2018. Please bring a backup copy of your presentation on a USB storage device on the day of your presentation.

Poster Presentation

Posters should be made in a portrait/vertical format measuring 3’wide and 4’high. Recent research performed in the area of Neurogenetics should be summarized in an attractive way by the use of schematics, graphs and tables. The posters must be easy to follow and understand. Text should be readable from five feet away and must use a minimum font size of 18. The posters must be put up by the authors according to the timings mentioned in the schedule. Authors must be present at the assigned boards and must remain at their boards for the entire duration of their scheduled presentation.
